Trial Matings

The trial mating feature allows you to select a sire and dam from any of the available databases and display a pedigree for that proposed mating. You never need to leave this page to keep selecting different sires or dams or to view the resulting pedigree. The trial mating web page is displayed below:
Follow these steps:
- Select the breed
- Enter a name or description for this mating
- Optionally enter the sex
- Enter the sire and dam. This is done by first typing part of the name in the relevant search field. Next Click the "..." button - this will populate the dropdown list with the first 100 matching names. Click the dropdwon to select one of those names.
- Select the number of generations to display then click the "View Pedigree" button.
