Nine more breed databases
We have just added nine new breed databases. Firstly there's the Manchester Terrier's database compiled by Jennifer Legere and we have added some stock Breedmate databases for the following breeds: Bulldog, Chinese Crested, German Shepherd, Jack Russell Terrier, Miniature Bull Terrier, Parson Russell Terrier, Pembroke Welsh Corgi and Standard Poodles.
Inbreeding coefficients
01 Oct 2015 - we have added COI (Inbreeding Coefficient), line breeding and COR (Coefficient of Relationship) to the Pedigree report for entries and trial matings.
Photos on pedigrees
You can now upload photos for any pedigree on Worldpedigrees. Just click on any search result to view the pedigree, then when you float over the header it will show an "Add photo" button. Just drag any relevant photo over the popup dialog and it will be automatically loaded. here .
The last uploaded photo is shown on the Worldpedigrees home page with a link to all the latest uploaded photos.
Message Board
Added a message board for any user to post messages. See: here .
Pedigree Charts
13 Jul 2013 - Pedigree charts have now been added as another reporting option. These charts are an amazing 20 generations on a single page. See an example here .
User added data
Users can now add data to every breed database.
Site maintenance
The web site has been down for a few days from 10th - 14th May 2013. If you use Pedigree Express you will need to download a new compatible version by going to the home page then click on the left menu bar "PRO Membership" menu then "Download PedExpress".
Links to pedigree
The pedigree report now has a link "[Make Link]". When you click on it you will be taken to a page that displays a link that you can copy and paste into a web page or HTML email. When the link is clicked on it will display the original HTML pedigree report - without requiring the user to login.
Open databases
Sat 14 Aug 2011: The previous system of users submitting changes has now been modified. Only additions can be made, but the good news is that the additions appear immediately (making it easier to build pedigrees) and those additions are added to the convenor's Breedmate database (which resides on their own PC and is the source of all updates). Its up to the convenor responsible for that breed database whether they accept the addition and they may email you to query anything you submit, but assuming it is accepted them an addition becomes part of the standard database.

PDF Pedigrees
Fri 23 Jul 2010: We have now added PDF pedigrees. These are accesible as links from the search results or from the header on any report. The PDF pedigree is limited to portait format, boxed ancestors, 5 generations and A4 paper size.
Now you can modify pedigrees directly
PRO users - can now Add/Edit records live in certain "open" databases. The only databases currently open are Border Collies and Nova Scotia DTRs. If you aren't a PRO user yet, you can upgrade here. A description of how the system works is here.
